Dear Penny,

just a note to say how grateful I am that Suzanne gave me a Furry Friends tag for little Wolfie's collar. If he hadn't had his FF tag on when he ran way in Carrum Downs I would have been waiting days to hear he had been found. Instead, I was able to pick him up within hours after he was found and you were contacted.

Many thanks to you and Suzanne for minding Della and Peggy so often,

Cheers.
Helen, Seaford

E-mail dated 13 June 2006:

Good Morning,

I arrived home last night after a brief holiday to Adelaide over the long weekend and as a first time user of ‘Fury Friends’ I felt confident after my pets and I had met Suzanne the day before I left. Yet I must admit I was still quite anxious; I left an additional 3 A4 pages of notes on feeding, emergency contacts and their personalities, that I may have forgotten to tell her on the initial home visit and ‘bonding session’; as this is the first time they have been left home alone I wanted to make sure they were going to be happy. I have usually boarded ‘the boys’ for trips away or made sure someone was home to feed them.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from Suzanne on my first night away to reassure me that the fussiest of all cats (Barney) had actually eaten under the strictest supervision and that “special needs’ cat (Biggles) had also eaten his special diet.

When I arrived home I was pleased to see both my boys looking happy and relaxed, the bins had been attended to and the house clean, fresh kitty litter, the heating and radio on as per my instructions and ample dry food and water left. This was topped off by a very concise diary, including the Melbourne weather update, what the boys ate, the games they played and their demeanor – Biggles had been a bit of a terror and gave Suzanne extra cleaning work to attend to ( he is quite a control cat and goes out of his way to do obnoxious things when he is annoyed that I am going away).

The diary was an entertaining read but also reassuring to me; Suzanne also left them a shoelace to play with which they are thoroughly enjoying even though she had to hide it in the dry food bag so they would stop fighting over it.

My sincere thanks especially to Suzanne who made me feel relaxed and I know made both Biggles and Barney very happy and comfortable. Also thanks to Fury Friends – what a great service to pet owners, this is a service I will recommend and will certainly use again in the future.

You are doing a great job Fury Friends – keep up the good work!

Kindest regards.
Charmaine, Biggles and Barney

Suzanne,

Just a little thank your for looking after Rox so well. We could tell she had been content with you as she was in no hurry to come inside when we got home. When she did come in she backed up for a massage and has expected this nightly.

Thanks.
Rox, Sue and Glyn, Frankston

Letter dated 17 January 2006:

Dear Furry Friends Holiday Helper,

Thankyou Suzanne for taking such personal care of our pets: Hoppy the rabbit and Spikey and Patches our guineapigs. Despite the hot weather our pets were looked after with love, care and affection.

We also appreciated having our mail collected and our rubbish bins placed out.

The care you provided gave us reassurance and a stressfree holiday.

Thank you very much.

E-mail dated 14 September 2005:

Hi Penny,

I just wanted to say how much we appreciated you looking after our furry family members!! Alan and I so enjoyed reading the daily report on Tilly and Holly, it really made us laugh! I also loved the description of Tilly’s hiding place – her penthouse wardrobe apartment, how true that is!! That’s what I’m going to call it from now on!

You are so professional in what you do and our minds are put at ease knowing that you really do care about the animals and are not one of these “in and out in a flash” animal feeders! Thanks again so much Penny.

Thanks Penny!!
Robbie and Alan, Parkdale

Dear Penny,

Stuart and I thank you so much for looking after our ‘girls’. They were pleased to see us, but we found Kelly waiting on the mat at the back door (near the shed) and we suspect she was waiting for her new friend to arrive.

Thank you also for your report which we greatly appreciated...Once again thank you for everything you did over the last 2 weeks, it was much appreciated.

Kind regards
Kaye, Langwarrin

Hi Penny,

a big thank you for looking after our darlings while we were away. We were a bit worried about it all as we'd never left them alone before. We also appreciated the daily report...a very nice touch!

Pity Comet was a bit shy, he does that sometimes, but Zilla is friendly with everyone, and as you'd expect, he's quite a hit!!

We'll definitely recommend you and ask of your services again next time we go away, which is more likely now that we know the cats will be safe. A fantastic idea or yours, as we really didn't like the idea of a cattery, and potential diseases etc...

Thanx again,
Adam and Brooke, Seaford

Hi Penny,

Just a quick note to thank you for looking after Jarrah, Saba and Kora again. They are always so happy when I return so I know they have been well looked after. Thankyou for taking the extra measures since they had dug near the front gate - I appreciate your care and concern.

Apologies that I had to give you late notice to cut the service short, I appreciate your flexibility with this, and will definitely be in contact again in the future.

Kind Regards,
Lauren, Waterways

Hi Penny,

Just a quick email to say thank you for looking after Bella and Samson. Your letter provided us with a few laughs especially the story of Bella eating her dry food in a coloured order.

Thanks once again. It is great to know we can now leave them at home and go with peace of mind.

Regards
Gabby and Shaun.
