We provide the best possible care for your pets when you are not there to care for them yourselves. Our dedicated, pet loving carers treat your
pets as if they were their own. If your pet carer should find a problem with any of your pets the matter is attended to immediately, either by
monitoring a potential problem or taking your pet to the Vet for medical treatment. All pet carers who work for Furry Friends Holiday Helper
are Victoria Police checked and covered by public liability insurance.
Below is a breakdown of how Furry Friends Holiday Helper works for you and your pet:
Before your pet sitting job begins:
Your pet sitter visits you and your pets around one week before you leave for you holiday, there is no charge for this visit.
Your pet sitter gathers all emergency and care information from you.
You let your pet sitter know all the jobs you require her to do during your absense.
Your pet sitter gathers feeding information for each of your pets.
Your pet sitter leaves you with a Medical Information Form for you to fill in which will give any Vet important information required to help your pet in case of illness.
Your pet sitter leaves an individual I.D. tag for each of your pets.
All the information gathered by your pet sitter allows us to care for you pet in the best possible way and provides all relevant information in the case of an emergency.
During your absense:
Your pet sitter is bound by the Work Agreement you have both signed to arrive at your home on the agreed dates.
Your pet sitter is bound by the Work Agreement you have both signed to undertake all jobs agreed upon.
Your pet sitter is bound by the Furry Friends Holiday Helper Contract to put your pets best interest before all else.
In the rare occurance of one of your pets falling ill Furry Friends Holiday Helper have First Aid tranined staff to call upon and if necessary will take your pet to a Vet.
If there is a problem with a difficult pet, Furry Friends Holiday Helper carers have access to staff who have dog training experience.
After you return from your holiday:
Your pets are still protected by their individual I.D. tag, if they are lost or injured Furry Friends Holiday Helper can still be contacted by anyone who should find your pet.
If your pet is lost or injured and Furry Friends Holiday Helper is notified, we will first attempt to contact you, if there is no reply we will collect your pet and care for it until it can be returned to you.
